Two things inspired the creation of Reusify…..

1. A desire to reduce waste
2. An undying love for coffee

Katarina, our Co-Founder, has always been passionate about reducing waste. From collecting trash at her local beach as a child to buying 2nd hand clothes to this day. She’s also a lover of coffee and loves to start the day with a caffeine boost. The pandemic forced Katarina to have her coffee on the go, which meant a lot of paper cups. Not only did this cause a lot of waste, the coffee didn’t taste as good and became cold way too quickly! With 2 things close to her heart being compromised, she had to do something about it.

She reached out to Antonio, her good friend since they met in university, to discuss an idea. They always shared ideas about how they could make the world a better place, but Katarina knew this project could be special. Antonio agreed, and became a Co-Founder.

Enter… Reusify! A team on a mission to help reduce waste in Amsterdam and across The Netherlands, one reusable cup at a time.
